“(Breitbart) Star Trek actor and clickbait peddler George Takei is spreading misinformation [stupid b.s.] that the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s political assassination was motivated by right-wing views.
“Takei wrote, 'Kirk’s killing appears to be right on right violence,' friday evening on the leftist echo chamber bluesky, long after officials revealed that ammunition in the murder weapon was etched with anti-'fascist' slogans — and after a friend of detained [sic] suspect Tyler Robinson said the 22-year-old is 'pretty left on everything,' 'the only member of his family that was really leftist.'”

(ZH)DNA evidence matching that of Charlie Kirk’s suspected killer was found at the crime scene, FBI Director Kash Patel said on Monday.
Tyler Robinson, the suspect arrested for the Sept. 10 assassination of the conservative Christian influencer at Utah Valley University, also left a note indicating that he expressed that he had an opportunity to kill Kirk, Patel said.
In a Sept. 15 interview with Fox News, Patel said, “I can report today that the DNA hits from the towel that was wrapped around the firearm and the DNA on the screwdriver are positively processed for the suspect in custody.”
Patel also referred to reports of an alleged note left behind by Robinson, saying that the suspect wrote that he had the “opportunity to take out” Kirk and wrote, “I’m going to take it.” That message was written before the Sept. 10 shooting, he added.
Patel said that it was both a “note” and a “text message exchange,“ adding that it was ”destroyed“ but that investigators recovered it. Other evidence in the case, Patel said, was ”shocking,” although he didn’t go into more detail.

The now-former late-night talkshow and Podesta pal will be 'preempted indefinitely" following overt propaganda regarding the killing of Charlie Kirk, an ABC spokesperson told Deadline. The show will be replaced by other programming.
During his opening monologue on Monday, Kimmel suggested that Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old suspect in the assassination of Kirk last week at Utah University - was a conservative, when all indications point to the exact opposite.
"The MAGA Gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," Kimmel said, adding "In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving."
ABC's announcement came shortly after Nextar Media Group announced that its company-owned and "partner television stations affiliated with the ABC Television Network will preempt ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ for the foreseeable future beginning with tonight’s show."
Hours earlier, FCC Chair Brendan Carr told Benny Johnson that Kimmel's comments were "truly sick," and that there's a "strong case" for legal action against both ABC and Disney (ABC is a Disney subsidiary).
"This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way," said Carr. "These companies can find ways to take action on Kimmel or there is going to be additional work for the FCC ahead."
"They have a license granted by us at the FCC, and that comes with it an obligation to operate in the public interest," Carr continued.
Nextar is coincidentally seeking FCC approval for a $6.2 billion merger with Tegna - and (also coincidentally, we're sure) "strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets."
Nextar broadcasting division president Andrew Alford said "Mr. Kimmel’s comments about the death of Mr. Kirk are offensive and insensitive at a critical time in our national political discourse, and we do not believe they reflect the spectrum of opinions, views, or values of the local communities in which we are located," adding "Continuing to give Mr. Kimmel a broadcast platform in the communities we serve is simply not in the public interest at the current time, and we have made the difficult decision to preempt his show in an effort to let cooler heads prevail as we move toward the resumption of respectful, constructive dialogue."

(epoch times)An ABC reporter apologized on Sept. 17 after describing text messages authorities say were exchanged between Charlie Kirk’s alleged murderer and the man’s boyfriend as “very touching."
“Yesterday I tried to underscore the jarring contrast between this cold blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk - a man who dedicated his life to public dialogue - and the personal, disturbing texts read aloud by the Utah County Attorney at the press conference,” Matt Gutman wrote on X.
“I deeply regret that my words did not make that clear. [ZH: so it's our fault for misinterpreting him] But let there be zero doubt here: I unequivocally condemn this horrific crime and the pain it caused Charlie Kirk’s family, those who were forced to witness it at UVU [Utah Valley University], and the millions of people he inspired.”
A spokeswoman for ABC did not respond to requests for comment by publication time.
After Utah County Attorney Jeff Gray on Tuesday outlined the evidence supporting the charges against Tyler Robinson, who is accused of murdering conservative commentator Kirk in Utah on Sept. 10, Gutman said during the ABC broadcast that the messages were “very touching, in a way, that I think many of us didn’t expect—a very intimate portrait into this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who is transitioning, calling him ‘my love.’ And ‘I want to protect you, my love.’”
Robinson never told his boyfriend that he wanted to protect him, according to messages released by authorities.
“So it was this duality of someone who the attorney said not only jeopardized the life of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case,” Gutman continued. “And then, on the other hand, he was speaking so lovingly about his partner.”
Later in the day, Gutman said on ABC that Kirk was brutally murdered but that “on the other hand, there is this duality ... a portrait of a very human person, a very human experience from this entire family.”
Gutman noted that Robinson’s mother, according to authorities, recognized her son from the photograph distributed showing the suspect in Kirk’s killing before Robinson was arrested.
