“yesterday I tried to underscore the jarring contrast between this cold blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk - a man who dedicated his life to public dialogue - and the personal, disturbing texts read aloud by the utah county attorney at the press conference,' Matt Gutman wrote on x.

[zh: so it's our fault for misinterpreting him] but let there be zero doubt here: I unequivocally condemn this horrific crime and the pain it caused Charlie Kirk’s family, those who were forced to witness it at uvu [utah valley university], and the millions of people he inspired.

“after utah county attorney Jeff Gray on tuesday outlined the evidence supporting the charges against Tyler Robinson, who is accused of murdering conservative commentator Kirk in utah on sept. 10, Gutman said during the abc broadcast that the messages were 'very touching, in a way, that I think many of us didn’t expect—a very intimate portrait into [sic] this relationship between the suspect’s roommate and the suspect himself, with him repeatedly calling his roommate, who is transitioning, calling him 'my love.' and ‘I want to protect you, my love.
“'Robinson never told his boyfriend that he wanted to protect him, according to messages released by authorities.
“so it was this duality of someone who the attorney said not only jeopardized [?] the life of Charlie Kirk and the crowd, but was doing it in front of children, which is one of the aggravating circumstances of this case,' Gutman continued. 'and then, on the other hand, he was speaking so lovingly about his partner.
“later in the day, Gutman said on abc that Kirk was brutally murdered but that 'on the other hand, there is this duality ... a portrait of a very human person, a very human experience from this entire family.
[N.S.: What “family”? Has Matt Gutman turned the assassin and his boyfriend into a “family”?
And a death camp commandant played classical music, but nobody spoke touchingly of “duality” after the war, they just called him a hypocrite.]

N.S.: If the authorities are telling the truth, then Matt Gutman lied about the assassin's messages, in order to make the killer look more human. Jury-tampering, the law calls that.

The federal government is spending freely, cushioned by (still) growing tax revenues and ever-new debt.
Looking Ahead to Next Year’s Finances
Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Finance Minister Lars Klingbeil of the Social Democrats give the impression that they intend to further accelerate the spending pace next year. After a roughly four percent increase in this year’s budget, next year’s growth rate is expected to be even higher: around €530 billion in planned spending. France leads the debt parade and is unwilling to cut back expenditures.
GRA:There's more about debt and raising inheritance taxes,but what fascinates me is the idea that if you fail to acknowledge debt in government,there are no ramifications--no reason to stop doing what you're doing--just ignore the widening chasm between money coming in and going out.
The U.S. supposedly can get away with it because the dollar is the currency of last resort(bull)but how can Europe do it? In my opinion,the debt rating agencies are allowing it to happen because if they lower the ratings on debt to where they should be(C or lower)the bond selloff would cause cataclysmic repercussions. So they don't--and the fantasy goes on...and on...and on.

MAN WHO TRIED TO ASSASSINATE BRETT KAVANAUGH IS(WAS)A TRANNIE
(ZH)Federal prosecutors revealed that Nicholas Roske, the California man who pleaded guilty to attempting to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2022, had planned to kill up to three Supreme Court justices to "single-handedly alter the constitutional order" over Roe v. Wade. The motive appears political and leftist in nature, and other court documents obtained by The Daily Wire revealed that the would-be assassin identifies as transgender.
Roske, who now identifies as female and uses the name "Sophie Roske," is set to be sentenced on October 3. Federal prosecutors are seeking 30 years to life in prison, citing the defendant's premeditated plot to kill three justices in an attempt to change the Court's balance.
He called himself "transgender" before his arrest,according to Roske's social media accounts.
