My favorite film with Claudia Cardinale is Lost Command (1968) with Anthony Quinn as a French paratrooper colonel, first in Indochina and then Algeria. George Segal costars as an Algerian who fought with the French in Indochina but became a leader of the Algerian rebellion.
Alain Delon plays a French officer critical of France's colonial policy. Claudia Cardinale, portrays Segal's sister and has an affair with Delon's character.
Lost Command is sometimes on a movie channel.
Sophia Loren had a fall that required long hours of hip surgery in 2023. Probably the hip broke and then she fell. 91 now.
There are pics of her in 2024 with a walking stick and many people around to hold her up.
