Remember "Volare" by Dean Martin?

Here's a rewrite--for the excuse-making, deputy commissioner in Philly--Frank Vanore:

"Vanore" by GRA

Vanore, oh, oh,
Vanore--he doesn't know?
That blacks will shoot at the clouds,
Then aim their guns at street crowds,
Anywhere in a ghetto,or not in a ghetto,
Where negroes will all lose their minds,
They can cause a contusion, that needs a transfusion, you'll find,
That while still on a tether, they'll leave a large crime scene behind.

Vanore, oh, oh,
Paisano, you are a dope,
No wonder that crime never sinks,
His brain must hurt when he thinks.

Vanore, there is no hope.

It's the city of "Brotherly Love,"
Where a shooting's as good as a shove,
Yes, this is nigadelphia,
Where White cops keep trying to get through each day half-alive,
But there aren't any reasons, why Whites need to spread the black jive, There are plenty of blacks,
Who would naturally want to connive.

Vanore, oh, oh,
Paisano--it's time to go,
No way, you're able to stay,
When this, is what you must say:
"Contagious gunfire" here,
The public has nothing to fear."
