l.a. party ends up like many post-parties end up in big cities--with the bagging up of dead bodies

"(abc noise) two people were killed and six others were injured in a mass shooting at an apparent afterparty in downtown los angeles, authorities said.

"around 11 p.m. sunday, officers saw someone run into a location that appeared to be a party with about 50 to 60 people in attendance, los angeles police department commanding officer [mex] Letisia Ruiz said. one person was arrested for possession of a firearm, police said, and officers locked down the scene, cleared it and left for another call.

"then, around 1 a.m. monday, police received a radio call for shots fired, and officers responded to the location again and found several people struck by gunfire, Ruiz said.

[GRA: Ruiz in charge.]

"two people were killed and six others injured [sic] in a shooting in downtown los angeles following an unofficial after-party for the hard summer music festival, aug. 4, 2025.

"the eight gunshot victims were all adults, police said. one of the injured [sic] was listed in critical condition, police said.

"police have no suspect information and no motive,' mexican parrot, Ruiz squawked.

GRA: A city approving a neighborhood festival, is also indirectly approving shootings and fights (the way things are now). This was an "after-party," but without the hard rock music festival, these particular shootings wouldn't have happened. I wonder if the city can be sued for liability for not providing a safe area for its patrons. If you can't throw a festival without deaths occurring, the festival shouldn't be approved.
