“Pennsylvania state police gives details on shooting
“the 5-year-old girl was shot in her hand, and her injuries do not appear to be serious; however, one of the men, a 38-year-old, was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he died sunday morning, according to police.

Baltimore, eh? Run by The Other Mayor Brandon (Scott). Baltimore is the disaster behind the usual infuriating clickbaity Daily Mail headline today: "Middle class residents of Dem-run city say they're trapped in unsellable homes surrounded by drug markets." Some depressing photos that make East Cleveland seem less unlivable.
Whazzat line "Pennsylvania state police gives details on shooting"? Like they don't have enough trouble of their own above the mason-dixon slime?
WJM coverage: Ted Baxter misreads "shot in the hand" as "shot in the crabs". Mary: "Murray! Did he say what I think he just said?" then faceplants on her desk. Lou Grant opens his office door, doing a slow controlled burn, says "Mary, can you step in here for a moment?"
From The Department of The More Things Stay The Same:
"60 years ago today, August 11, 1965, the Watts riots begin in Southeast Los Angeles, lasting 6 days."
2 min 37 sec Universal Newsreel video (which I think means that we can ignore the superimposed AP logo)
Multi-tasking blacks:Eating crabs and scratching them at the same time. It had to be said.

Blacks must have thought those crabs were waffles.
