The illiterate headline writer makes it sound as if the toddler, 19-month-old J'zyra Thompson, had already been burned to death BEFORE her siblings put her in the oven, to roast her for dinner, perhaps. No, they burned her to death.

The unwed mother and her current boyfriend had simply left her four known children alone in the apartment. Never mind that they were obviously asking for trouble. Never mind that one of the children's many grandmothers lived in the same apartment complex, but the couple refused to ask her to watch the kids. Never mind that the couple already had an open child protective services (cps) case, before she committed negligent homicide.

One of the three-year-olds openly told a cps worker what they'd done--one forcing the toddler in the oven, while the other turned on the heat, and hoiw they heard the little girl kick against the oven door, while they murdered her.

The media learned quite a bit about the murder, from the initial cps file, but that's all over now. A raceless, fasceless, nameless judge ordered the case file sealed, and the media have refused to name either of the adult killers. cps reportedly said that they expect charges to be filed, but I assume nothing of the sort.

It's entirely possible that we may never even learn the names of the negligently homicidal womb donor or her equally guilty boyfriend, or either of the adults' criminal records. Of course, the two three-year-old killers' respective names will never be revealed. Imagine having made your first kill at three years of age.

On July 3, 2014, black Michael Joseph Fobbs Jr. (6'3," over 250 lbs.) sucker punched and beat Joseph Keith Richard (a skinny, little man in his late fifties--the media refused to even give such information) to death with his fists at a bus depot in San Antonio, simply for being White and much older and smaller than Fobbs, and sitting on a bench, minding his own business.

So, was Fobbs executed? Sentenced to life until parole? On the contrary, the authorities issued him a free, racially motivated, hate crime murder.

This is not your father's Texas.

But this is not your father's America, either. Jurisdictions are "disappearing" murders, all the time. And family courts have more power than other institutions with which to "disappear" child murders.
