Or maybe not.
My late Uncle Jack was a retired Washington, D.C. homicide detective.

After a stint with the D.C police he got a job as a US Marshal.
After service as a marshal he retired and became a part-time security officer with the National Press Club in D.C.
He told me a story years ago about working another part-time job, only this time it was to screen job applicants for seasonal positions with the IRS in D.C.
He was told before he started that applicants with open warrants could not be reported to the D.C. police for arrest.
My uncle screened about 73 applicants.
All 73 applicants were black.
All 73 had open warrants.
The applicants would leave the screenings, and then my uncle would promptly call authorities to have the applicants arrested.
All of the black applicants had open warrants.
All of them.
Sheetz ain't doing nothing wrong.
N.S.: Under civil rights law, all Whites are always wrong, no matter what they do.
