As I remember it,there was one particular black with a weapon close to his car,which got Fields to reverse or be swallowed up by the crowd.I believe he would have been killed.

Fields was being chased by an armed gang when he first fled the scene. He was then attacked with ball bats when he ran into the folks marching in the street. That Heather was NEVER struck by Fields with the car. She had a heart attack.

The armed anarchist did state at the trial he had warned fields to leave the area or he would be killed.

Fields was still found guilty.
