Looking at these images today, it is still surprising to see so many Whites, including white men -- shows the power of decades of anti-racist media propaganda -- there could be a black on black homicide every day in Austin and none of these people would take notice -- certainly they would not protest about it.

Correct. The defendant should not even been charged in the first place.
The so called victim went up to the driver of the car, blocked the forward progress of the vehicle and pointed a weapon at the driver. That driver acted in self defense. Waiting until the so called victim fires first and it is probably too late.
Blocking the roads as a form of protest I have always is a crime considered to be unlawful imprisonment.
Yup, Perry made a wrong turn, found himself surrounded by communist protestors, felt his life was in danger when Foster raised his rifle at him, so Perry defended himself. Perfectly legal self defense. And as someone said, the Soros Buttboy is prosecuting Perry because he shot the leftist Foster. We no longer have justice in this country--leftist prosecutors persecute conservatives and protect criminals--especially black and Hispanic criminals.
People in the crowd fired shots at the defendant as he left the scene. The mostly peaceful protestors had many armed thugs among them.
The defendant immediately turned himself in to police when he was beyond the reach of the armed mob.
The man should never been arrested or tried.
