Just received Heather MacDonald's new book

I went to amazon's site to see if there are (already) any frothing-at-the-mouth negative reviews (i.e. one--star) by people who obviously haven't read it. So far, no reviews at all, but it'll be fun to see the one-stars that are likely to show up in the next few days. (Currently amazon adds "Verified Purchase" to reviews, if applicable.)

Anyway, here are three blurbs, probably ones from the dust jacket:

Western institutions that once stood tall have begun to erode under the utter destruction brought on by one word: equity. Heather Mac Donald brilliantly breaks down this regressive equity epidemic in which race overtakes merit. Built on a foundation of pseudo-intellectual drivel, it has infected our justice system, science, medicine, and more.
– Ben Shapiro, Host of The Ben Shapiro Show

Heather Mac Donald'sWhen Race Trumps Merit is a tour de force that brings to bear the author's prodigious cultural formation, clear prose, and, most important of all, unflinching courage. Mac Donald observes the growing threats to the West, from criminal acts to cultural degradation—burglaries to rewriting Beethoven—and she proposes to excise the pernicious ideology behind these evils at a time when more cowardly commentators dare not even criticize it by name. A book to strengthen both mind and spine.
– Michael Knowles, Host ofThe Michael Knowles Show

Heather Mac Donald has done it again! Her new book, When Race Trumps Merit, is a fact-filled, eloquent, and passionate critique of the drift toward relativism and mediocrity that is being visited upon us by progressive elites in the name of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This is an important, persuasive, and morally righteous jeremiad that deserves to be widely read.
– Glenn C. Loury, Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences at Brown University

Loury, it should be noted, is black.

N.S.: I won't be reading Heather Mac Donald's new, book-length "thing."

Her career and reputation are based on lying in support of the nypd's institutionalized fraud in crime statistics. I and other journalists (and some cops) have exposed the nypd and other big city departments' fake stat record keeping, going back to 1996.

In 2016, Mac Donald wrote a book called The War on Cops. In it, she asserted that scholarship showing pervasive, black-on-White prison rape had been refuted by later research. However, she never identified who had produced the original research, or who had had "refuted" it.

That's a sign of fraud.

For the record, the original scholar was lawyer Joanne Mariner, of Human Rights Watch. The study was entitled No Exit. As far as I know, the latter scholar or scholars, who supposedly refuted Mariner, are non-existent.

If someone has a history of intellectual fraud, you can't take her word for anything. You have to read every report she cites, to see if she was honest about it. In that case, there's no point to reading her.

That any person in their right mind would even dare to suggest that negro on white rape in prison is the rule and has been for decades is almost beyond belief.

An average sized whitey man placed into a prison full of big overgrown negro men in big trouble.
