Elite combat units you want your best people possible. Ask those women to fireman carry a two-hundred pound man 100 meters as a qualifier. See how well that works.

Women have been used as combat troops in Africa for years now, particularly in the Sudan/Ethopia region, and with gun being made lighter now, have done quite well as soldiers. However, they discovered that women generally didn't take male prisoners, they would simply off men when they were captured. Reason why is that the women knew they would be immediately gang raped if captured by opposing male soldiers. Those Africans, they love their rape.

I understand that troops frequently carry packs as heavy as 100 pounds--not something most women could do unless they were refugees from the East German shot put team--or most men either. And elite troops need to be able to fight hand to hand--you don't have to watch many mixed martial arts fights to see how women fare against men. As for women fighter pilots, the lack of success of women in top level auto racing is an indication that they don't have the aptitude for that kind of extreme piloting. I suppose piloting gun ships, bombers, and transports would be okay. With so much depending on computer use women should have plenty of opportunities to fight using their minds and fingers. The smartest woman in math I ever met went from a degree in music directly into the PhD in math program at Berkeley--without a BA or MA in math. I am not putting women down--they are just different. Few of us men could qualify as a Navy SEAL either. As a man, I think women are the most wonderful thing in the world--they don't need to fight in the dirt. As someone said, "If God created anything better than a woman, he kept it for himself."

I had to do that in basic training with a man who weighed less than 200 pounds and my legs nearly collapsed. And believe me I have a penis and testicles.
