jerry pdx Here in the progressive paradise of pdx they are trying to pass a tax that will fund the hiring of attorneys to defend renters against those evil landlords. Already, you're not supposed to investigate the background of any potential renter, you must take the first one that applies. This was rationalized as protecting black and latino renters who were supposedly being discriminated against by landlords. There is some truth to landlords being hesitant to rent to them but the reasons were legitimate. Blacks and latino renters were known for playing loud music, damaging property, not paying rent etc... What's really crazy is my parents bought and rented out houses when we grew up and know how difficult it can be for landlords but still vote Democrat. I go crazy telling them it was the people that voted into office that have produced these laws that protect bad renters. They sold their house and got out of the biz because of the hassles but just can't make the connection that their votes made things too difficult for them.
I am a dissident journalist, whose work has been published in dozens of daily newspapers, magazines, and journals in English, German, and Swedish, under my own name and many pseudonyms. While living in internal exile in New York, where I am whitelisted, I maintain NSU/The Wyatt Earp Journalism Bureau and some eight other blogs (some are distinctive but occasional venues, while others are mirrors), and also write for stout-hearted men such as Peter Brimelow and Jared Taylor. Denial is a way many people go through stretches of life--maybe their whole lives.
