I emailed the idiot who wrote this. Here's the email:
I had the opportunity to read your sentimental nonsense espousing the "benefits" of the millions of illegal aliens living in this country, although they have zero right to be here. It was the same regurgitated bullshit about how hard working and beneficial to society these criminals are. All you succeeded in doing his highlight how they compound the crime of being here illegally in the first place: the high school education they have no right to, as well as the college diplomas they have no right to. Not to mention the jobs they have no right to fill.
The statistics you proffered outlining how wonderful these parasites are conveniently left out the violent crime stats these people are responsible for as well: rape, murder, kidnapping, home invasions, armed robbery, not to mention crimes such as shoplifting, DUI and petty theft. All crimes that are 100% preventable if our immigration laws are obeyed and enforced. Unfortunately they're not enforced so these animals are free to prey on American citizens as well as legal immigrants with impunity, cheerleaded by hypocrites like you, who espouse how wonderful they are, but have none of them staying at your place.
Right now there are millions of first, second and third preference relatives of legal immigrants waiting up to twenty years for visas, at considerable cost in legal and filing fees to their American sponsors. These are actual immigrants painstakingly respecting and adhering to labyrinthine American immigration laws, because they understand that residence in this country is a privilege, not a right. They should be stepped over why exactly to accommodate people who not only have no right to be here, but by their very presence demonstrate their disdain of American sovereignty?
