(jingle)
"You want to sue someone who's White?
Uncle Ben will do it right.
We will turn your dark day sunny,
By winning you sh*tloads of money."

Call Ben now.The sooner you call, the sooner you can collect your millions.

Per her statements she seems like a reasonable woman, and I don't think she deserves blame for her son's significant criminal history.

I've seen it mentioned on social media that he was in prison for a previous homicide -- after seeing a report about that, it seems he was present at the robbery (as his mother admits), but not directly responsible for the killing -- 3 men were involved in the robbery of a cell phone store -- two wore masks and went inside the store, one apparently stayed outside, probably in the car -- the manager/owner of the cell phone store was shot and killed during the robbery -- her son was convicted of 'aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon', sentenced to 15 years, and released on parole after 7 years -- so he was clearly not the shooter; he may have been the one who stayed outside in the car, I don't know and don't care -- one could say he was lucky not to be charged with homicide in that case, which is possible in many jurisdictions: if you take part in a felony, e.g. armed robbery, which results in loss of life, you can, and often will, be charged with homicide, even if you were not directly involved in the killing.

To me this case is a reminder of why liars and scum in the media push the 'racism' and 'police violence' angles when something like this happens: because with 30+% of black men being convicted felons, this guy is a LOT closer to the average for young black men in the US than they want decent people in wider society to realize -- black men are worse than useless, i.e. not only are they, as a demographic group, not net contributors, they are responsible for a grossly inordinate amount of mayhem, and often lead lives consisting of little more than crime, drug abuse, and menial employment.
