CBS DOUBLES DOWN ON TRUMP STATEMENT ABOUT SUBPOENA

GRA:Both cbs anchor,Norah O'Donnell and the reporter she tossed the story to afterwards(Major Garrett?),described Donald Trump's 14 page response to the committee vote to subpoena him,"rambling"--apparently attempting to characterize him as less than normal mentally.

If they think TRUMP is rambling, what would they say about Biden--if they reported truthfully:
"The President stumbled and slurred every other word during his brief statement today. He then appeared lost and tried to shake hands with people who weren't there.A blank look came over his face.before wife Jill came onstage to lead him off.A sad, pathetic performance by the Democratic president."

INDIANA JONES(WITH HARRISON FORD,AGE 80)COMING BACK IN JUNE 2023
GRA:Something about finding Noah's Ark--with plenty of de-aging special effects--similar to "The Irishman"--and Nazis.

(C-net)Harrison Ford is bringing Indiana Jones back for a fifth movie adventure on June 30, 2023. Lucasfilm gave audiences a first look at how digital technology will make the man in the hat look younger than Ford's 80 years at Disney's D23 Expo 2022 on Saturday.

The trailer hasn't yet appeared online, but the footage is spectacular and classically Indy -- one of the most memorable moments sees him whipping wildly at a group of goons, who respond by pulling out guns and opening fire on our hapless hero. It's a clear riff of the iconic moment where Indy casually shoots the swordsman in Raiders of the Lost Ark, except Indy manages to duck out of the way here.

"Indiana Jones movies are about fantasy and mystery, but they're also about heart," Ford said from the stage alongside director James Mangold and co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge. "We have a really great story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your ass."

"I'm very proud to say that this one is fantastic," Ford said.
GRA:Those WERE great flicks and we need some good entertainment.

On a similar topic,Bruce Willis just signed a deal that would allow his voice and image to be inserted into future movies--as decided by his estate(or him). The thought of this type of movie making being done is both interesting and off-putting.Viewing a computer image of say,John Wayne, cannot have the same impact with an audience as the real life "Duke", portraying a character, would have--though the Wayne we saw onscreen was a persona and theoretically could be imitated.

Would seeing a purely computer created John Wayne,Bruce Willis etal,be as satisfying a movie experience as viewing a film with the real actors in their prime?
I think we know the answer to that one.
