Some time ago now the alleged role of emissions in 'global warming' became the dominant environmental agenda; it is still regarded as the most urgent priority -- this is the reason for the focus on (eliminating) coal and motor vehicles -- both the overall energy calculus of this transformation (e.g. how is the electricity to charge all of these new battery-powered vehicles going to be produced?), as well as the environmental damage done by the extraction of resources needed for it, have been largely neglected -- I do not see this changing.; Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at 6:36:00 PM EDT
