The vic was named Abdul Rauf Khan. The confessed killer’s name is being suppressed, and according to nbc D.C. reporter Pat Collins may never be released, because he may be tried as a juvenile by the family court system.
“Khan moved to the U.S. from Pakistan in search of a better life, his family said.”
According to his family, Khan “was hailed as a hero and received an award for bravery for intervening as an Alexandria, Virginia, police officer [police person] was attacked.”
