POLICE ARREST MEX/NEGRO FOR SELLING FENTANYL LACED COKE TO "GOOD KIDS" FROM WEST POINT.

Arrest made in fentanyl-laced cocaine OD of West Point cadets in Wilton Manors

(WIKE)Police have confirmed they have made an arrest in the overdosing of college students who ingested cocaine laced with fentanyl in Wilton Manors.

Police identified Axel Giovany Casseus, 21, as the person who sold the spring breakers the drugs.

He appeared in bond court on Saturday morning.

Authorities confirmed that four West Point cadets were taken to the hospital Thursday. One of them is a football player, one person was not taken to hospital and one was not a cadet.

On Friday, West Point released the following statement, which read in part:

“The U.S. Military Academy is aware of the situation involving West Point cadets, which occurred Thursday night in Wilton Manors. The incident is currently under investigation.”

When authorities arrived at the Airbnb home, in the 800 block of NW 29 Court, they found six college students who had difficulty breathing.

“They seem like good kids, typical college kids,” said one neighbor. “Rowdy in the pool, but they don’t deserve this.”

Shock from neighbors is coupled with worry from fire rescue crews after the six spring breakers overdosed.

“It brings great concern that there could be other ODs over the next couple of days,” City of Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Stephen Gollan said.

Four of those who overdosed went into cardiac arrest before two friends tried to help by performing CPR. That’s when they were also exposed to the drug, said rescue officials.

GRA:Good kids don't ingest cocaine. That's bad behavior from lousy "kids".The evil "kid" is the drug dealer,Axel Casseus, who's lucky no one has died--yet.

black POLICE CHIEF OFFERS REWARD FOR INFO ON MASS SHOOTING AT CHICAGO LITTLE CAESARS(7 SHOT).NO TAKERS,AS NIGS CLAM UP.

GRA:There's a picture of Chicago chief David Brown, surrounded by 5 black cops,at a presser. We're supposed to believe they want to arrest fellow blacks? They KNOW the reward money offer is bogus, because blacks never do the right thing and give info.

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police returned to the scene of a mass shooting in which seven men were struck and wounded Sunday afternoon in South Chicago.

Authorities are offering a substantial reward for information leading to charges and convictions. Police were handing out flyers and interviewing people around businesses in the strip mall where the shooting happened at 79th Street and Exchange Avenue in broad daylight at 3:40 p.m.

The mall that includes a liquor store and a Little Caesars pizza, among other businesses.

Police Supt. David Brown said the seven victims – who were all together in one group – were standing near the Little Caesars when two cars went by, and someone in one of the cars started talking with the group.

(GRA:How does Little Caesars stay open with this going on all the time--which{non-black?}witnessess say it does?)

Almost immediately afterward, someone fired shots toward the group and wounded seven people. Police said up to 60 rounds were fired.

The victims ranged in age from their late 20s to their 50s, officials said.

As of Monday morning, two people remain in critical condition.

Police said a 63-year-old man, a 62-year-old man, a 59-year-old man, and a 36-year-old man were each shot in the leg and were reported in good condition. The oldest man was taken to Stroger Hospital of Cook County, the 62- and 59-year-old men were taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, and the 36-year-old man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

A 51-year-old man was shot in the hip and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.

A 34-year-old man was shot in the chest and a 31-year-old man was shot in the abdomen. Both were taken to the U of C Medical Center in critical condition.

Earlier information indicating that a person died in connection with the shooting was not correct.

It is not known whether the shooter or shooters targeted the group, or if there was a fight during the conversation that led to the shooting. It also was not clear whether one or both of the cars were involved.

(GRA:Does it matter?)

CBS 2's Shardaa Gray talked to some neighbors who did not want to go on camera for fear of retaliation. They told her at they heard least 10 rounds fired from what sounded like an AK rifle.
