A bizarre story altogether.
But it reminds one of, or suggests, the two things that have undermined and will ultimately doom America unless changed:
1) A FIRE economy based around money churning capitalism that creates no true wealth, all made possible by out-of-control, irresponsible fiat money and deficit spending;
2) Government and media (also to a large extent education) have largely been turned over to liberal arts grads who are, when compared to the other professions, mediocrities of below average intelligence and rational analytical ability -- and this is especially true of the women.
