GLEN BURNIE, Md. (WBFF) — A man shot and killed his father Wednesday in front of the University of Maryland's Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County police said.

Lt. Glenn Shanahan, a police spokesman, said the man, 24-year-old Kintrell T. Mceachern Jr. fled the scene in a car and later killed himself around 6 p.m. in a wooded area in Windsor Mill. The victim, 40-year-old Kintrell T. Mceachern Sr., and his son had been visiting a family member at the hospital when they got into argument around 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot, Shanahan said.

(GRA:THAT was well thought out. What could POSSIBLY have been said to "trigger" such a response?I cannot come up with anything--but then,I'm WHITE.)

Kintrell T. Mceachern Sr. was shot multiple times, Shanahan said. Police believe Kintrell T. Mceachern Sr. was visiting his wife. In Windsor Mill, Baltimore County police recover a gun, which is believed to be the murder weapon.

“This is something that we wouldn’t expect to happen in the parking lot of a hospital," Shanahan said. "It just goes to show you that domestic incidents or family matters can escalate. We’re just lucky that no one else was injured in this."

GRA:Shanahan's quite the optimistic bulls*itter, isn't he?

Anne Arundel County police spokesman Lt. Glenn Shanahan said the father, Kintrell Todd McEachern Sr., 40, was visiting his mother at the hospital when he got into an argument with his son, Kintrell Todd McEachern Jr., 24.

So 'doing the math', a father at 16 y/o -- and how old was the mother?

The rise in out of wedlock births among Blacks over the preceding decades: link

Seems to correlate with the advent of the Civil Rights era and the rise of the welfare state, which to some extent obviated the financial need for a father to be present in the household -- this is a problem you rarely hear black racial activists address.

Committing a crime on hospital grounds a very aggravated offense. 3X the normal amount of puhishment.
