American citizens but probably [much more than likely] ethnic Mexican. Blood sports popular in Mex. Mex society has a casual level of acceptance toward violent behavior.
Small loss--who needs people entertained by watching animals kill each other? Mexicans are known for liking cruelty--cockfights, dogfights, horse tripping. Their ancestors cut the hearts out of thousands of living prisoners. And when they are not enjoying their sports the excel at drug smuggling, people smuggling and vicious murders. Lovely people.
