From what I've seen,vaccine specialists are held responsible for their views as much as "expert economists" are,the ones who opine about coming stock market crashes,recessions or depressions and then blame the false prognostications on "other unknown factors".Many claim outrageous events are just around the corner,for years--like Harry Dent or Robert Prechter--in Dent's case,for publicity purposes.Many are ego driven.
In VandenBossche's case,we'll have to wait as well,to see how it all transpires.Even if he's right,the government may not let us know.Certainly the media won't,in conjunction with government.
