N.S.: Castro’s lack of any Spanish fluency cost him the vice-presidential nomination in 2016. Hillary Clinton was ready to nominate him, assuming he was an authentic Hispanic, only to learn of a gap, shall we say, in his resume.
If Castro is serious about running, look for him to take Spanish classes.
