I think the reference below to Trump's "mean tweets" concedes too much. As far as I know, Trump issued those only in response to others' nasty attacks on him, instead of meekly enduring such sliming, as the standard Repub would.
Was Joe Biden ever competent?
Joe Biden was never smart.
When I interned in Congress for two summers many years ago, other congressional members openly referred to him as one of the dumbest men on Capitol Hill. Staffers and interns, including ones who worked for Democrats, made fun of him.
Old age and dementia have done this dull man no favors. That was apparent over the weekend when Biden, stupidly even for him, went off script and called for regime change in Russia. It also was apparent a few months ago, when Biden may have precipitated the war by, according to President Zelensky's account of their phone call, encouraging Ukraine to apply for membership in NATO. Biden then later suggested that the response from Western allies to any offensive moves by Russian troops massing at Ukraine's border might be more muted if Russia were to carry out a "minor incursion" into Ukrainian territory.
Elsewhere, Biden has shown the same kind of incompetence on forging another nuclear deal with Iran.
It is really quite pathetic to see the same pro-Israel individuals and organizations who supported Biden over Trump raising the alarm on the administration's weak Iran nuclear negotiations. This was all so predictable for those of us who could see past Trump's "mean tweets" and were instead focused on supporting his administration's policies, which brought unprecedented peace and prosperity. 
Instead of mean tweets, we have an incompetent administration that has brought the very opposite of peace, along with high inflation through its reckless spending policies. With all of the giveaways to Iran, the administration might as well include the development of Iran's nuclear capability in its "infrastructure" project and funding.
I wonder whether, when in a few years Iran is aiming its nuclear weapons directly at Israel and the Gulf States (and perhaps Berlin and Paris, too), those moderates and independents who tipped [sic] the election to Biden will continue to congratulate themselves on being "on the right side of history" by voting against Trump.
Once the Republicans take back Congress in the midterms [?], I would be in favor of impeaching Biden on the grounds that he is dumb and incompetent, except for the inconvenient fact that his vice president is even more so. That's one of the reasons he picked her. Sadly.

I was just watching cnn, with Wolf Blitzer (a West German-born Jew, which I just learned!) hosting, and a panel of M.J. Lee, their South Korean (born) White House reporter, Russian Jewish “human rights” activist (washed-up, world chess champ) Garry Kasparov, and anti-Semitic, chief world reporter Christiane Amanpour, who was born in London to a moslem, Iranian father and a Catholic mother. (Thus, out of four talking heads, not one was a Christian White man, or born in America.)
One talking head (Blitzer, I believe) said that u.s. intelligence claims that Vladimir Putin is being misled by his military leaders into thinking Russian forces are doing better than they really are.
Blitzer and his guest talking heads explained that Putin has been dictator for 22 years, and people are afraid to tell him what he doesn’t want to hear.
And yet, the very same segment, with Amanpour doing most of the talking on the ground in the Ukraine, showed that Russian forces have devastated the Ukraine. She was at a factory that had served as a food depot that had been destroyed, and showed a delivery truck that had taken a direct hit from a bomb. Amanpour assured us that the driver had gotten away just in time.
The segment also showed a huge, bombed-out apartment building, and aerial photo of a new Ukrainian city laid to waste (Irbin), and mention of the destruction the Russians have inflicted on Mariupol. Then there’s Kiev, Kharkiv, Volonavkha, etc. If that’s a failure of the Russian military, what would count as success for it?
The larger issue is that cnn expects us to believe Deep State u.s. intelligence agencies, the same ones which lied to us for years, in asserting that President Trump had only won the 2016 election through “Russian collusion.”
Meanwhile, someone emphasized, as cnn has been doing for weeks, that the Russians live off of “lies.”
Blitzer asked, rhetorically, “Do the Russians think they can create their own reality?” Kasparov responded, on cue, “Absolutely.”
So tells us the u.s. dictator’s regime press agency.
Meanwhile, back in domestic Bizarro World, we have a criminal regime in power, thanks to The Big Steal, which tells us that law-abiding, tax-paying American patriots, including White parents who merely criticize genocidal, black supremacism (currently called “critical race theory”) at school board meetings, or who peacefully protested The Big Steal are “domestic terrorists” and “White supremacists,” who must be imprisoned for many years (and many of whom languish in jail without being bonded out, 14 months later, tortured by racist, black guards), and in which the chairman of the u.s. joint chiefs of staff, gen. Mark Milley Vanilli, is more concerned with studying and crushing fictional, domestic “White supremacists” than with winning foreign wars.

It’s 44 pages long, and heavily footnoted – I read some of it yesterday.
I’m tired of how infantile this entire debate is, but about the first part of the ruling:

“Despite the lack of evidence of election tampering, ...”
What does that mean? — as I pointed out before, there is plenty of evidence of anomalies in both voting and vote counting – but since these were never seriously investigated and evaluated before a body with standing (e.g., a court), it’s impossible to say if they were just statistical anomalies, or were evidence of “election tampering” – so to claim right at the start of the ruling that there was a “lack of evidence of election tampering” is dishonest.

President Trump also made personal appeals to state officials. On January 2, he called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to discuss allegations of election fraud. ... The President interspersed the conversation with specific fraud claims—dead people voting, absentee ballot forgeries, trucks ferrying illegal ballots, and machines stuffed with “unvoted” ballots.12 Mr. Raffensperger debunked the allegations “point by point” and explained that “the data you have is wrong; ...”
Personally, and without commenting on Trump's specific claims, I think it was impossible for Raffensperger to “debunk” allegations of fraud in Georgia on Jan 02, 2021 because there had been no serious investigation at that point – but no doubt, he saw “which way the wind was blowing,” and did not want to damage himself politically by siding with Trump on the fraud claims.
Later, Matt Braynard and his team did do a thorough investigation of voting in Georgia, and found that the number of ballots easily shown to have been illegally/improperly cast there exceeded Biden’s margin of victory – now that does not necessarily mean Trump would have won, but it does show that it was worth investigation whether there was “election tampering” in Georgia.

Chris Rock learned that lesson during the Oscars 2022 ceremony on Sunday, March 27, when the king richard< star confronted him onstage after he had made a dig at Jada Pinkett Smith, who struggles with alopecia. The heated exchange came after Rock, 57, made a reference to Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, joking, “Jada, I love you. G.I. Jane 2, can’t wait to see it, all right?”
As the audience fell silent, Rock quipped, “That was a nice one, okay?”
Smith, 53, then marched to the stage and appeared to slap the comedian in the face. When he returned to his seat, Rock quipped, “Wow, Will Smith just smacked the s—t out of me!”
However, the spat didn’t end there. Smith then yelled at Rock, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—king mouth.”
“Wow, dude. It was a G.I. Jane joke,” Rock replied, to which the actor yelled at him again: “Yes, keep my wife’s name out of your f—king mouth.”
The saturday night live alum then assured Smith that he’s “going to” before segueing to the Best Documentary segment. He told the audience, “That was a greatest night in the history of television.”

From Fakestats to No Stats: fbi Does Not Release Crime Stats for Last Quarter of 2021

That was Jacob Kaplan, a criminology professor at Princeton University. COVID has shown us nothing to do with crime. All sorts of experts have played this game, whereby they blame everything on Covid.
TV ratings for sporting events down dramatically? Blame it on Covid. But TV sports ratings should have been up, because hundreds of millions of people were locked down in their homes, with nothing to do.
Crime up dramatically? Blame it on Covid. What was the causal nexus between Covid and crime? There wasn’t any. Again, with hundreds of millions of people locked down in their homes, crime should have gone down. However, blacks ignored the lockdown, which was aimed at White people (every limitation on personal freedom is aimed at White people). Meanwhile, urban police engaged in the most radical level of de-policing ever seen, while prosecutors and judges were issuing more free crimes to blacks than ever before.
But you can’t tell the truth. You have to lie about everything, so you can’t cite the real cause of the crime explosion: blacks, aided and abetted by police, prosecutors, judges and the media.
By the way, according to the linked story, the fbi/doj switched from their old ucr statistical system to nibrs (national incident-based reporting system (nibrs) nibrs is supposedly richer in details, but the fbi supposedly will only publish national crime stats if at least 60% of police departments buy into the nibrs system, and fewer than 60% of pds have. Among the departments that have refused to switch over are the nypd and lapd, the nation’s two biggest departments.
I don’t believe any of this. The fbi simply doesn’t want to publish crime stats. As for nibrs vs. ucrs, for 30 years, as one department after another has adopted fakestats practices, the ucrs have been worthless. The best statistical source is the national crime victimization survey (ncvs), in which researchers call people around the country, to ask if they’ve been victimized by criminals. The ncvs has for years determined that the crime rate is half what police departments have been admitting to in their ucrs. But with more and more people relying on unlisted cell phone numbers, the ncvs’ effectiveness is surely also diminishing. Chronicles Magazine published my first major report on fakestats in 1996:

“Why the FBI Won’t Release Quarterly Crime Stats for 2021.”
Academics and other experts who track the rising and falling of crime in America were expecting on Monday to see a fresh batch of data from the FBI: quarterly crime stats (courtesy of police departments) that would offer a picture of crime trends across the country in 2021. Instead, the agency announced that it would not be releasing the statistics, due to a lack of data provided by local police departments.
It’s a bit odd that in 1Q 2022, in the middle of a crime spike, the FBI claims local law enforcement hasn’t reliably reported data – did this ever happen in the past?
(N.S.: In the late 1990s or early 2000s, the FBI reported that the Uniform Crime Reports (UCRs) from the Boca Raton, FL PD were so lacking in credibility that the Bureau would not accept them for the foreseeable future. I have no idea how long that lasted.)

If tracking violent crime was important to them they would’ve achieved 100% compliance with their new system by now. ...
