News brown-out in denver: Two brothers with different, hispanic surnames take plea bargains for premeditated, drive-by shooting murder of third hispanic vic, 19, but local media covered up the story, and never let go!
Who: Vic: Dacien Salazar, 19, shot dead on feb. 14, 2024
Who: Shooter: Antonio Vasquez got 40 years
Who: Getaway driver: Jason Trujillo Jr. (Vasquez' brother), got 20 years
What: Planned, drive-by shooting murder
Where: outside denver’s downtown aquarium
When: feb.14, 2024
How: Shooting
Why: The denver media have refused to answer this, or related "who" questions. What gang were Vasquez and Trujillo in?
Why did Vasquez and Trujillo plan and carry out Salazar's murder? Who set up Salazar, by ensuring that he'd be in front of the aquarium at just that time? What gang, if any, was Salazar in?
"denver, colo. (krdo) - on feb.14, 2024, Antonio Vasquez shot and killed 19-year-old Dacien Salazar during a drive-by shooting outside denver’s downtown aquarium, according to the denver district attorney's office.
"on friday, Antonio Vasquez was sentenced to 40 years in prison, while Vasquez’s brother, Jason Trujillo, jr., was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Vasquez and Trujillo both previously pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Dacien Salazar, according to the da's office. officials say Trujillo drove the car that was used in the shooting."

I read at least three different "things" on this case, both on the sentencing, and on the crime from two years ago. They never answered the most basic questions re gang affiliations, motive, etc.

Only cbsnews, in a fourth "thing," provided a mug shot of shooter Antonio Vasquez.

Why do WE have to pay for their prison confinement? Another key question:Are they illegal? If so,we shouldn't have to foot the bill. Either deport the banditos or import(from mexico)pesos to pay for their stay here at the Graybar Hotel.
