“They don’t make ’em that way anymore”: Sam Alito on Nino Scalia
Conclusion: “'after our interview, we repaired to the far corner of his office, which included a view of the capitol and a bookcase shrine cluttered with philadelphia phillies memorabilia: signed balls, framed trading cards, a letter from the great pitcher Robin Roberts. I asked who Alito’s baseball hero was growing up, and he pointed to a photo of himself, taken when he was a 43-year-old appellate judge and decked out in a Phillies uniform, next to the Hall of Fame center fielder Richie Ashburn, at Phillies Phantasy Camp.
“When I mentioned that my baseball hero was Tom Seaver, the power pitcher who lifted the New York Mets from lovable losers to World Series champions, my host replied with a comment that he might have applied to Scalia, as well.
“They don’t make ’em that way anymore,” Alito said.

His name was familiar, but the article was in politico, which is hardly what I'd call a trusted source. And yet, Alito and Rosen are clearly old friends.
Rosen has had a legendary career, AND he was chased out of Fox news by nameless me-too hoaxers, whose fakery was repeated, third-hand, by npr fake news reporter David Folkenflik.

They sure don't. That's because "they" aren't around anymore(not a joke).

Did Scalia have any family? There was never even a hint of an investigation into his murder. Similar situation with Andrew Breitbart, who was stupid enough to dine with his political enemies, and died abruptly shortly thereafter. I suppose Andrew's heirs are happy with the income generated by his site, even though it's become a laughingstock megaphone for the current administration.

RM: "Did Scalia have any family?"
When someone asked him how many kids he had, Scalia responded, "Enough to field a baseball team."
And yet, none of his brood cast any aspersions upon his pillow.
