Either she was kidnapped by a doctor/pharmacist or she's dead, unfortunately.

Savannah is completely trusting in a miracle. I hope she gets it, but the odds are horribly against a happy conclusion.

First suspect id'ed by tmz--police deny

"(cnn) there's a potentially stunning twist in the kidnapping of today anchor Savannah Guthrie's mother Nancy ... an Ashleigh Banfield report claiming her son-in-law might be a suspect.

"Banfield -- an independent journalist and former newsnation host -- reported tuesday night, a law enforcement source told her Tommaso Cioni has been identified by police as a possible suspect in the case.

"Cioni is married to Savannah's sister Annie, and we know she was the last person to see Nancy on saturday night when they reportedly had dinner together. it's unclear if Cioni was also at the dinner.

Possible Savannah knows who did it? That the kidnapper (brother-in-law?) took the medicine she needs? But analyzing tmz's story, it all sounds very lamebrained that the B-I-L would take Mrs.Guthrie. He'd never get away with it. Of course, he could be a nutjob. --GRA

Savannah is unrecognizable in the video. No monster fake eyelashes for one thing, but worn-out, exhausted with worry.
