I recall Weinstein being convicted based on a "victim" asserting that he had "raped" her the first time, but that they then spent months have consensual sex.

His lawyer in the Cal case says,"I can use some of those legal overturns from N.Y. out here."
I doubt if he'll last that long.

How many YEARS does it take to appeal and win a case in the courts?
A retrial will be futile. He has already served time.

(Breitbart)Disgraced Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was rushed to hospital Saturday night for a battery of tests on his return to New York after the city’s highest court overturned his 2020 conviction on sex crime charges.
The 4-3 decision reversed one of the defining cases of the #MeToo movement but Weinstein will remain jailed on a separate 16-year rape sentence handed down in California, as Breitbart News reported.
The Department of Corrections determined that Weinstein needed immediate care.
