Didn't they make a movie a few years ago (THE SHAPE OF WATER) that was a treatise on how women can only be satisfied by something "alien"? Didn't see it, but it was rewarded with a Best Picture award. I did see LOOKING FOR MR. GOODBAR years ago, which was about how women could only be satisfied by violent men- white in this instance- and the ultimate man is the one who finally kills her. Pretty damn depressing but much truth to it. There's a reason why pre-20th century society was always tightly structured, especially with regard to women's roles and behavior.
