N.S.: Having failed in my search for a song about exploding milk cows, I had to settle for the following lovely Terry Stafford song, sung beautifully by George Strait, and played by The Ace in the Hole Band, presumably with Gene Elders on the fiddle.

George Strait - "Amarillo by Morning" (Live from the Astrodome)

Environmental activists or radical eco-nut PETA types probably to blame. Cattle burp and fart a lot and that contributes to so-called man-made global warming. We will save the beasts from inhumane slaughter [it was a dairy] by killing them.

Been a whole bunch of these food-processing facilities gone in a short period of time. Hardly I think just bad luck for the industry.

I've got it!
Hank Snow--I'm Moo-vin' On.

Those stored explosives out in the back,
Made a big loud noise like a mortar attack,
So we're moo-vin' on,the cows are gone.
We were flyin' so high,we were up to the sky.
Yeah we're moo-vin on.

We said to be careful storing that crap,
Then all of a sudden in a finger snap,
We were moo-vin on,the cows were gone.
We were flyin' so high,we were up to the sky,
Yeah,we're moo-vin' on.
