“Ragged Old Flag”: A New Version that Johnny Cash Wouldn’t Have Recognized, of a Nation that “The Man in Black” Wouldn’t Have Recognized

Ragged Old Flag (Since 1989)
We’ve heard about the travels,
Of the Ragged Old Flag,
Its greatness was self-evident.
It had no need to brag.
But since this song was written,
Our nation’s been eaten away,
By commies and by blacks,
Every single day.
9/11 began the free fall,
The day that thousands died.
And if it could have done so,
Our Flag, it would have cried.
And so began the ending,
To the country we once knew.
They started taking away our rights,
From Whites like me and you.
Our Ragged Old Flag kept watching,
As Whites were pushed aside.
And if it could have done so,
Our Flag, it would have cried.
Then riots and election fraud,
Spread throughout the land.
The country started sinking,
As if in thick quicksand.
They tried to covid vaxx us,
With no right to decide,
And if it could have done so,
Our Flag, it would have cried.
Where all of this is going,
It’s difficult to say.
But our Ragged Old Flag’s still flying,
Hopeful—of a better day.

Been over twenty years now since 9/11. Seems to have been only yesterday. And yes, so much changed and for the worst.
Osama as Fred Reed the pundit has pointed out one of the most remarkable persons in all of history from the bad side of things.
One man in a cave in Afghan with a few hundred followers at most causing such marked changes in the world with one act of violence.
Actions of Osama too and additionally those in positions of power in various places of the world. All for the worse.
