"Dalkon Shield scandal"

I did not realize that there was a scandal. I was on a jury back about 20, 25 years ago where a woman claimed that she contracted STD's. The manufacturer was being sued for not providing protection for STD's. The woman was on a large boat in the middle of a very large lake and parties were going on. The woman was very pretty and nicely shaped and college educated.
The jury voted against her claim because we felt she should have known STD's could get past the dalkon shield.

Photo of 14 yr. old Gamara Mosley who helped beat a 73 yr. old man to death has been released. From what I understand, they don't release photos of minors unless they are being charged as an adult and both she and 14 yr. old Richard Jones are being charged as adults in the crime: https://www.foxnews.com/us/philadelphia-female-teen-14-to-become-second-to-face-murder-charge-in-traffic-cone-beating-of-elderly-man?dicbo=v2-8d07777ae7c56ce1ad2e4ced34e67e3a
Isn't everybody supposed to at least be kind of innocent and cute looking when they are 14 yrs. old? Guess this is proof that isn't true.

Experienced a few "dine and dashes" back in my restaurant days but now they've come up with a new one: Dine and rob! Well, blacks do claim to have invented everything. That's false but I'll give them credit for this one.

Some odd twists in the case of the 10 yr. old impregnated by a 27 yr. old Guatemalan:
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ohio-10-year-old-alleged-illegal-immigrant-rapist-27-listed-minor-abortionists-report-state?dicbo=v2-06c56d578d4c2015b2b8de2ef62b6268

From the article:

The Guatemalan illegal immigrant charged with raping and impregnating an Ohio 10-year-old who traveled to Indiana for an abortion was listed as a minor in the report the Indiana-based abortionist sent to authorities.

Dr. Caitlin Bernard reported that the alleged rapist was approximately 17-years-old in an official filing to the Indiana Department of Health obtained Thursday by Fox News Digital.

However, the 10-year-old's mother said her daughter was "fine" and "everything they say about [Gerson Flores] is a lie" when confronted Thursday by a Telemundo reporter.

In addition, after Fuentes was charged Wednesday, Republican Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita announced he would investigate Bernard for failing to report the abortion, saying "failure to do so constitutes a crime in Indiana." But the documents obtained Thursday by Fox News Digital show Bernard successfully filed the proper report with the state on July 2.

"My client, Dr. Caitlin Bernard, took every appropriate and proper action in accordance with the law and both her medical and ethical training as a physician," Bernard's lawyer Kathleen DeLaney said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "She followed all relevant policies, procedures and regulations in this case, just as she does every day to provide the best possible care for her patients."

Why is the mother defending the rapist? Is the abortionist covering for him also? Is that why the state is still going after her even though there are documents proving she filed the report (assuming Fox has legit documents)? A lot of questions that can't be resolved without more information but one has to wonder how the politics of immigration, latino culture and race are playing into this. Will the perp be properly punished for his crime (assuming he's guilty that is)? Or will he somehow skate due to his ethnicity. If it were a White perp, would the media be treating this differently?
There are conspiracy theorists in comments on BB and Fox claiming that it's not coincidence this happened right at the time Roe v. Wade is being overturned and that this is being staged as propaganda.

I don't know what's really true or not but it will be interesting to see how this plays out.
