Cippilone and Herschman seem like pompous pricks--just the type of guys who would stab Trump in the back(like many did.)
The courts hunkered down and were not about to permit an airing of grievances to "overthrow" an election.They never will--no matter what.Imagine the chaos and doubt created by allowing that to happen--even one time.
You could never trust an election result again.
So the strategy was:accept the results,don't make a big stink about it and repeat the mantra,"This was a fair election--with no large amounts of fraud--not enough to change the results."
And that was that.
