"They saw the handwriting on the wall," said the young white girl from Rhodesia via South Africa.
I met her when I was a sophomore at the University of Dallas.
She was a freshman.
Her family had moved from Rhodesia to South Africa, and then to the United States in the 1970s.
Her words were spoken in response to my question, "Why did your parents leave South Africa?"
So, why am I not surprised at Chicago's descent into anarchy under a black, militant leftist lesbian mayor?
