[Re: “Very Small, Predominantly White (94%) Community Near Grand Rapids, Supports Keeping Confederate Statue.”]
UPDATE:
There were protests and counter-protests today at the site. Tuesday, the council will vote. My guess is it will be moved. If they vote to keep the statue where it is that’s, as they say, “One small step for white men, one giant leap for mankind.”
I said previously, time would be allowed to give the libs a chance to organize a protest. Today was it. The odds are 3-1 against keeping it as is, in spite of the original number of those citizens, at the meeting, voicing support for the statue staying put.
I’ll post the decision Tuesday or Wednesday.
