ATR: I talk to California clients every day of the week. They live everywhere from Imperial County to Kern County to Eureka. Invariably, conversations come around to Texas versus California and the differing costs of living. For example, I paid $1.85 per gallon for regular gas at Costco two days ago. My Clovis, California client told me this evening that he pays around $4.00 per gallon. He added that a buck per gallon goes to the state of California. How much longer can this divergence last?

A buck a gallon of gas and I am told that is not being used to maintain California roads as is supposed to be the case.
Used to be CA was middle class whitey heaven. Gone a long time ago and forever now.
