BREAKING NEWS:AT LEAST FIVE STABBED AT WALMART IN TRAVERSE CITY,MICHIGAN(5 PM SATURDAY)
TRAVERSE CITY, MICH (Fox 2) - Just after 5 p.m. Saturday, several people were stabbed at a Walmart in Traverse City.
Police haven't confirmed, but witnesses said there were more than five people injured and transported to a local hospital.
The Michigan State Police said that a suspect was in custody, and details are "limited" at this time.
The Grand Traverse County Sheriff's Office are the lead investigators for the case.

Heading back home to Indiana, they took a wrong turn. Luckily a police car tailed them and guessed right. They hit the blue lights and pulled them over. "You're in a bad area where you don't want to be. Follow us and we'll show you back out to the interstate."

(Detroit free press)At least 11 people are being treated by local hospitals after a mass stabbing at Walmart in Garfield Township, near Traverse City, on Saturday, July 26, and a suspect is in custody, Michigan State Police said Saturday afternoon.
Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan confirmed that "11 victims are being treated at Munson Medical Center" in connection to the incident. Six are in critical condition and five others are serious. "As a result, our Emergency Department is currently experiencing a higher-than-usual volume of patients," it said.
More than 10 police cars sit in the Walmart parking lot in Traverse City, Michigan, after a mass stabbing incident left 11 injured.
Police are telling people to "please avoid the area as the investigation is ongoing."
Kim Harris, a spokesperson for Walmart, told USA TODAY in an email that the company is "working with police and right now will defer questions to them."

PHILLY NEGRESS ARRESTED AFTER ONE OF HER YOUNG 'UNS SHOOTS ANOTHER YOUNG 'UN(2 YEAR OLD BROTHER)
PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A North Philadelphia mother is behind bars after police say one of her young children got hold of her legally owned gun and shot their 2-year-old brother.
Police said it happened around 8:10 p.m. Monday in the home along N. 21 St. near W. Diamond Street.
The children's mother, 30-year-old Regine Prentice, has been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a child and related offenses, police said.
Authorities say the child was brought to Temple University Hospital by his mother with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder. He was later transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he is in stable condition.
Police say, at first, Prentice stated she did not know how her son was struck by gunfire.

Authorities later learned it was Prentice's legally owned gun that was grabbed by another young child in the home. The weapon and a spent .380 caliber casing were recovered by detectives.
"We determined the shooting occurred inside the 2nd-floor bedroom where another child got hold of an unlocked gun. The bullet went off, striking the 2-year-old," said Captain James Kearney,who heads Philadelphia Police's Shooting Investigative Group.
According to 6abc's data journalism team, in the last 10 years, 49 children ages 10 and under were victims of an accidental shooting in Philadelphia.
"That's the tragedy here. It could've all been prevented by storing the gun in a locked safe, something locked, or putting a lock on the actual gun," stressed Kearney.
The Philadelphia Sheriff's Office provides easy-to-use gun locks for free at the Philadelphia Sheriff's Office South Broad Street location on the fifth floor.

Jamison Rogers, the Chief of Staff to Sheriff Rochelle Bilal, said they also hold community events with free locks across the city.
"The leading cause of accidental shootings are unsecured firearms with children," said Rogers.
Prentice is also facing charges in Delaware County in a separate case where she is accused of terroristic threats.
The investigation is ongoing.

(Zh)Milwaukee is the latest in a long list of US cities facing a rapid retail exodus in minority neighborhoods and once again the blame is being placed on the companies in question rather than the behavior of the residents as they protests the rising tide of "food deserts".
At the beginning of July, city officials mounted a public outcry after Cincinnati-based Kroger Co. announced the decision to close at least five Pick 'n Save supermarket locations, including one in Milwaukee's Metcalfe Park neighborhood.
The city was also notified by Walgreens that they will be closing at least seven locations over the next two years and CVS will be closing some locations as well. Activists argue that the closures center around "black and brown neighborhoods" and that these areas "deserve access" to nearby grocery outlets.
Kroger's decision was discussed at a July 2 meeting of the Common Council's Community and Economic Development Committee. Many people walk or take the bus to buy food, said Alderwoman Sharlen P. Moore. If the store is gone, they may have nowhere close to shop. “This impacts our city,” Moore said. “They’re closing quite a bit of grocery stores that are in neighborhoods that absolutely have no access to groceries.”
Angry residents presented a number of far-left arguments and solutions, including finding ways to force companies to keep stores open and "boycotting" the stores (which are closing anyway). They also suggested recruiting help from the "Party Of Socialism And Liberation" (PSL) as a means to put pressure on exiting businesses. Their motto? "For the planet to live, capitalism must end".
Though Milwaukee(GRA:Supposedly) saw a promising dip in overall crime rates (except homicides) in the first quarter of 2025, the city deals with a continuing trend of high retail theft.

WHITE GUY CHARGED WITH TERRORISM(?)AFTER BEING ID'D AS PERP IN TRAVERSE CITY STAB-A-THON
(fox noise)Police on Sunday identified the 42-year-old man accused of wounding 11 people in a random stabbing spree at a Walmart in Michigan.
Authorities identified the suspect as Bradford James Gille, of Afton, Michigan, on Sunday afternoon. Police are seeking to file terrorism charges and 11 charges of assault with intent to murder against Gille.
Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, said seven victims were in fair condition and four were in serious condition. Their ages were not immediately provided.
