Trump, the wall street journal, and dnc professor, Jeffrey jackoff Toobin

“President Trump sues for $10 billion, rips wall street journal; Trump-hater wrote the story

“(pj media com) this week, the legacy media’s obsession with dragging President Donald Trump into the orbit of Jeffrey Epstein stooped to a shameful new low.

“the wall street journal embarrassed itself with a hyped-up Trump-Epstein “bombshell” that amounted to nothing more than a birthday card that Trump supposedly sent to Epstein in 2003.

“curiously, the evidence in this bombshell is under wraps [or non-existent], but Trump denies writing and threatened to sue over the bogus report.

“attorneys have now filed that lawsuit.

“this latest smear attempt is just another chapter in the media’s ongoing effort to tie Trump to Epstein, despite the lack of evidence and Trump’s documented decision to ban Epstein from mar-a-lago. meanwhile, Epstein’s deep ties to democrats, especially Bill Clinton, who flew on Epstein’s jet multiple times and visited his island, consistently get downplayed or ignored. the double standard is as blatant as it is dishonest.

“one might think, after years of “russian collusion” hoaxes, the “very fine people” lie, and endless misquotations — debunked every time — these outlets would be wary of another wild goose chase.

“but no.

“when it comes to Trump, the normal rules of evidence or integrity are suspended.

“opponents and their media mouthpieces were so eager to make hay over any Epstein association — even an obviously fake note — that they abandoned the last shred of credibility their institutions had left.

“now, Trump has filed a $10 billion libel lawsuit in federal court in florida against the wall street journal’s publisher, Dow Jones, the reporters who wrote the story, news corp, and Rupert Murdoch himself.

[N.S.: Actually, Rupert Murdoch hasn't run his family’s properties in many years. He handed them over to his liberal son, Lachlan, during the early 2010s, and has since acted only in an advisory capacity.]

“one of the co-authors of the wsj report, Joe Palazzolo, previously wrote for a publication called main justice, which was founded by Mary Jacoby, who happens to be the wife of Glenn Simpson, the fusion gps founder behind the debunked Steele dossier and the russia hoax.

“both Simpson and Jacoby previously worked at the wall street journal themselves, which tells you everything you need to know about the political rot festering in that newsroom.

“Trump summed it up best on truth social:

“'it has truly turned out to be a ‘Disgusting and Filthy Rag’ and, writing defamatory lies like this, shows their desperation to remain relevant.

“if there were any truth at all on the Epstein hoax, as it pertains to President Trump, this information would have been revealed by Comey, Brennan, Crooked Hillary, and other Radical Left Lunatics years ago.

“it certainly would not have sat in a file waiting for ‘TRUMP’ to have won three Elections. This is yet another example of FAKE NEWS!'”

GRA: Unless an “agreement” between Trump and democrats (also involved with Epstein) kept the evidence sealed for everyone's benefit.

Toobin says, “Trump's lawsuit vs. the wall street journal never makes it to deposition”

GRA: cnn's Jeffrey Toobin predicted President Trump's friday lawsuit against the WSJ will be over quickly, citing First Amendment freedom of the press.

“if they didn't totally make the story up, there is no case. it will be dismissed almost immediately.”

N.S.: “If” is the operative word here. The very pro-press standard set by the supreme court in the Sullivan v. new york times (1964) case, is “absence of malice,” whereby “malice” is very hard to prove. However, if the wsj wrote a story based on a fraudulent letter, that the paper never sought to authenticate, then I believe that that would constitute “malice.”

Just watched a National News Desk feature which was just dripping with anti Trump sentiment. Story suggested Ghislaine Maxwell could be offered immunity to "reveal" what she knows about Trump's possible involvement with Epstein. Immunity from what? More prosecution? She's already been convicted and serving 20 yrs. Maybe a backroom deal in the works where she gets a reduced sentence for suddenly remembering the Donald visiting Epstein's island?

Why is she in prison, there were no crimes, according to the lack of evidence that can be released? Sounds like all Epstein and Maxwell did was have private parties(sarcasm).

COLBERT RESORTS TO WHAT DE NIRO AND MANY OTHER DEMS SAY TO TRUMP IN FRONT OF A MICROPHONE--"GO F*** YOURSELF."

(ZH)After making jokes about how his show loses $50 million a year, future cancelled cbs late night host,Steven Colbert responded to President Trump mocking his show being cancelled by telling him "go f*** yourself."

GRA:With a comeback like that,Colbert didn't need actual writers(supposedly 100)--he could have saved millions by hiring hunter biden to jot down some punchlines.

LATEST ON EPSTEIN:WSJ SAYS,"TRUMP'S NAME IS SEEN IN THE EPSTEIN FILES SEVERAL TIMES--DOESN'T MEAN GUILT";COMER WILL TAKE DEPOSITION FROM GHISLAINE MAXWELL AT HER PRISON IN MID AUGUST;TRUMP CAUGHT IN LIE?

(WSJ)When Justice Department officials reviewed what Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truckload” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that Donald Trump’s name appeared multiple times, according to senior administration officials.

In May, Bondi and her deputy informed the president at a meeting in the White House that his name was in the Epstein files, the officials said. Many other high-profile figures were also named, Trump was told. Being mentioned in the records isn’t a sign of wrongdoing.

Also House Judiciary committee chair James Comer has issued a subpoena in order to pave the way for a prison deposition from Epstein friend, Ghislaine Maxwell
in Mid August.

(CNBC)Trump was told about the contents of the file, but last week, when an abc (noise)reporter asked the President if Pam Bondi had informed him his name was in the files,he said,"No,no,nothing like that,it was very general."

GRA:Okay.

Meanwhile a DOJ request to unseal Epstein grand jury testimony was rejected by a circuit court judge, who said,"I don't have the power to do so."

Mike Johnson called a summer recess to avoid any voting on the Epstein matter.

All of this is going nowhere fast.

OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE VOTES TO SUB
POENA BILL AND HILLARY,COMEY IN EPSTEIN INQUIRY

(Breitbart)A House Oversight panel subcommittee voted to subpoena Bill and Hillary Clinton for alleged links to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell.

The motion for subpoenas was issued by Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) during a Federal Law Enforcement Subcommittee hearing on Wednesday. No roll call was taken, and the subpoena was approved by a Republican-led panel via voice vote. Per the New York Post:

The Clintons and several former top Justice Department officials – ex-FBI Director James Comey, one-time special counsel Robert Mueller and former attorneys general Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Merrick Garland, Bill Barr, Jeff Sessions and Alberto Gonzales – were included in the list of subpoenas sought by Perry in order to “expand the full committees investigation into Ms. Maxwell.”

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) would need to formally issue the subpoenas to the Clintons and the others for them to be compelled to provide testimony or documents to the panel.

Former President Clinton acknowledged in his 2024 book Citizen: My Life After the White House that he flew aboard Epstein’s private plane, a.k.a. the Lolita Express, as part of his work with the Clinton Global Initiative nonprofit.
(GRA:I'll interpret:"Non-profit and non-stop FUNNN.")

“I wish I had never met him,” Clinton wrote, asserting it was “not worth the years of questioning afterward.”

(GRA(interpretation):"I mean,I was getting more poon in D.C. than I could handle already. So what do I do?I fly to Lolita Island. I didn't need to,but it was so damn exciting. It was worth it--hell I'm pushing 75 these days. Good memories. Too bad they killed him,I'd go back."
