Fire these useless republicans; tariff nickels are mere window dressing to hide deficit trillions

The President’s onebigbeautifulsh*tsandwich bill is no sure thing!

Fire these useless republicans; tariff nickels are mere window dressing to hide deficit trillions

At the end he says, “require all congressional spending bills to include the borrowing authority needed to finance them.” That’s all he needed, that one paragraph, The End. Let the brain-dead big spenders do that first. Then the debt ceiling ritual goes away on its own. I’m sure The Parliamentarian [Schumer?] will not frown upon the idea. the gateway pundit will play it up as “wow, what a great maga victory” and Wayne Allyn Root will credit it as Trump “changing” the way D.C. works. And I’ll drink, but not to any of that.

It will still be a farce, anyway, because nobody in D.C. has the courage to say, “No.” The same boilerplate language will be tacked on to every bill: “Whereas, be it resolved to Put This On The Tab, as the Secretary shall determine.” There’s not going to be any debate about, “Resolved, let’s borrow another hundred billion to put in the social security lockbox so we can avoid cutting any medicaid benefits.” They’re just going to do it.

Until then, keep the debt ceiling. Force them to vote on it, however farcical it may be. Thank God, we have it. It’s the #1 piece of evidence that Marjorie Taylor Greene is such a huge phony – june 2023, debt ceiling was hit, McCarthy’s Girl enthusiastically promoted the extra $1.5 trillion. “The Greene New Deal.” It’s on the record, no matter how much she wants to run from it now and claim to be the Queen and Membership Roll Manager of MAGA.

Don’t like how Biden/Harris spent the money on trannies and illegal aliens and green new deal? Well, you’re the idiot who gave them a trill-and-a-half, what did you think they were going to spend it on? Her new doge subcommittee is a farce, too. Playing small-ball, like pbs $20 billion, only about 1% of the way to balancing the budget. If we had a budget.

Unfortunately, almost the whole freedom caucus has folded. Cowards. Forcing single-subject bills? They surrendered on that, too. We’re back to the Pelosi-style thousand-page late-night no-time-to-read-it just-vote-yes-or-else mode of legislation. MTG admitted on tOOtsocial that she had not read the onebigbeautifulsh*tsandwich bill that she insisted had to be passed because because, um, because presidenttrump. “Oh, I didn't know that ai thing was in the bill.”

Massie voted for the 2023 hike but seems to have got his brain switched back on just in time to tell the Emperor he has no clothes; better late than never.

Historical opportunity missed. Endless deficits, endless ballooning debt, endless inflation ahead. A return to obamabush phonybaloney 0% interest rates will mask the borrowing costs as soon as trump demonizes the fed enough.

Party on, dudes, no shutdown! Until the party balloon bursts, and that’s the big shutdown. That’s where The Creditors, some anonymous globalists, take over and dictate the terms.

Fire these useless republicans; tariff nickels are mere window dressing to hide deficit trillions

By the way, lots of celebrating about $80 billion in new tariffs collected so far. So, where did that money go? The onebigbeautifulsh*tsandwich bill raises the debt limit by $5,000,000,000,000. But if we got $80 billion in tariff money, then we only need to raise $4,920,000,000,000 of new debt, right?

#BlankTheBallot2026. Fire these useless republicans. I look forward to speaker Jeffries giving Ilhan Omar the honor of casting the deciding vote on MTG’s expulsion from the house. Then someone please use the autopen to put Trump’s signature on some vetoes and let’s have a two-year government shutdown.

Not so Fast: Massie announces he has enough votes to block ‘one big beautiful bill’ in the house”

“(zh) Not so Fast: Massie announces he has enough votes to block ‘one big beautiful bill’ in the house”

GRA: Yes, the house wants less spending than the senate, but in the end, disagreements will be solved—as always—with very little difference in the deficit increase.

Fake theater.

O'Reilly mentioned today that "the bb bill" must pass or democrats will make a gigantic comeback. He also said,"the tax cuts for regular people in this bill are the important part. Yesss, there's pork to the ceiling, but the tax cuts for our citizens is the thing. If the tax cuts--due to expire this year--aren't extended,we'll have a recession soon."

BIG BUDGET-BUSTING BILL WILL BE SIGNED THIS WEEK AS GOP "HARDLINERS" GIVE IN

(GRA)"Disagreements will be solved",I said. Trump had meetings overnight "and the bill will be signed at 5 pm tomorrow."

(ZH)Overnight, most of the Republican holdouts on the 'Big Beautiful Bill' relented, flipping their support to advance the legislation to a final vote on the House floor after several deals were cut with President Trump. Earlier in the morning, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) kept the procedural vote open for almost six hours - which once passed would kick off debate before final passage.

GRA:And that...is that. No Oscars for best political actor will be awarded this year as all their performances were fake and below levels of believability. Not even Massie.

Definitely #BlankTheBallot2026. The present Republican Party needs to be punished and sent to extinction. Including most of the so-called "Freedom" Caucus. Whatever good stuff has happened, it will be undone on the first day of the next dem. president anyway, most of it in the first hour by autopens (plural) with attached document feeders full of contrary executive orders. And the rest by a big Swamp that will turn out to have never really been dismantled after all. Yeah, Massie is flaky (he backed the $1.5 Trillion new debt in 2023) but I hope his district gives a big middle finger to Trump by trouncing whoever their handpicked primary challenger is. And Bob Good, if he tries to come back after losing to McGuire, the McCarthy stooge, and badmouthed by Trump because he had backed DeSantis.

Courage is at a level below zero in D.C.
