And ding-ding-ding, the NSU community’s instincts were correct, as usual.

Next layer of speculation: the technician. Mrs. McA alleges, “the technician allowed her husband into the room despite the visible [20-pound] chain... she also pushed back against claims reported by ‘several news stations’ that McAllister was not authorized to be in the room.”

In the movie version, I’d cast the technician as about 4 ft 11 in. Habla español in a barely audible voice and English as a second language, a very distant second.
