Yes, true. But to make sure everybody wins - more than the caucaso-investor/donor class - the key to Gov. Wes Moore's PGCo rescue plan is the vibrant and diverse Squatter community.
Hollow it out and they will come.
Low vacancy rates, creative commercial ventures (home-based and mobile, too!). They will relocate from the west coast or nueva york or wherever on short notice. Their civic virtues abound: They'll enroll their trafficked children in public schools, they won't create commuter-time traffic congestion so air quality will improve. They appreciate the convenient, effortless voter registration assistance and will gratefully and dutifully vote in each election, sometimes more than once, for decades to come.
Surely we can honor them by finding a place to add some needles and a pile of street poop to that chaotic Maryland state flag.
