Bacharach/David’s, “Do You Know the Way to San Jose” gets an encore parody about “Brazilian liposuction quacks”

Do you know the way to D-E-I?

They’ll take the fat...right out...of your thigh,
Then you will die.

Can you tell your surgeon’s D-E-I?
Easy to know—you’ll see.. hordes of flies...on those demised—that’s D-E-I.

You will get an operation,
That's designed to drain your fat away,
But the nig isn't sure of how it should go,
No Whitey's here--to bail him out,
In goes the tube--and once he's done,
You're dead as if he shot a gun.

(Tap, tap, tap)

There are lots of worthless D-E-Is,

(Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa)

Must stay far away from D-E-Is

(Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa)

That’s unless you really want to die.

(Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa)

END

Humming along! "Do you know the way to Coral Way?" The website for Prestige Plastic Surgery Clinic is something else. "Our Patients Get the Results They Want". Only one doctor profile found: Gwendolyn De Leon. A page just for out-of-state patients touts Miami as "The Top Destination for Your Plastic Surgery Vacation".

And on the Brazilian Butt Lift page: "Most patients recover from a butt lift procedure within a one- to two-week period." Yeah. And in some cases, an extended rest and plenty of [embalming] fluids.

This Just In: Daily Mail story has Before photos. And says cause of death was a blood clot that traveled to a lung. "The surgery is technically challenging, involving careful liposuction and strategic fat transfer that avoids injecting the fat into a vein, where it can then travel to other organs."

Looking northward and anticipating a holiday edition of our usual weekly NSU Chicago scoreboard, the Babylon Bee presents a story headlined "Chicago Man Not Shot".

My parents had a neighbor. He was a Canadian doctor who practiced liposuction in south Texas. At least one, maybe two, of his patients died. He fled the country.
