28 and 6 are Perfect Numbers, the sum of the whole number factors of n other than the number itself.
6 = 1 + 2 + 3
28 = 1 + 2 + 4 + 7 + 14
But I bet someone's trigger-finger physics wrecked the math sometime after the "so far this weekend" tally, but not by enough to achieve the next perfect number, 496. Keep at it, chicago. The scientific method, test those hypotheses, publish reproducible results.

HUDSONVILLE, Mich. (WOOD) — A Hudsonville High School graduate who was shot in Alabama earlier this month is back in the hospital.
Ethan Carter was admitted to a West Michigan hospital late last week after suffering several seizures, his family told News 8. He remained in the hospital Monday, though his father said he could be moved to Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital as early as Tuesday.
Carter was shot multiple times in Birmingham, Alabama, on July 12. Police say Carter, who was in town to attend a sports training program, went to legally buy a gun he had found for sale online. Instead, police said, Carter was robbed and shot.

He was in the hospital in Alabama for a few days before returning to West Michigan last week.
Carter’s social media accounts indicate graduated from Hudsonville High School in the spring and committed to play football for Davenport University in the fall.
