Sum Ting Wong also on the staff(a joke)
I watched abc noise tonight and White.male reporters are extinct.
The first five stories had(black)Faith Abube,(black)Morgan Norwood,(spic)Gio Benitez,(black)Pierre Thomas and White woman,Mary Bruce. Shouldn't there be a few class action lawsuits by White men against the networks? The discrimination is as obvious as the color of the skin on these reporters. Many more blacks in training--I don't know their names--but they're being pushed in on the weekends.
No White guys allowed.

You endured an episode of abc noise? I am impressed! I wouldn't have lasted two minutes.
Putrid Pipeline: J-school attracts a low tier of students, the type that also shows up in education majors. "I chose this field because I want to make the world a more caring place."
That feeds small-market local stations hiring at cheapo salaries - or interns at minimum wage? you have to wonder. Unwatchable. Is this a real newscast or a video of your junior-year practicum?
At first they were just covering weekend shifts but now they're doing the weeknight prime-time lead-ins to abc noise starring david muir's ego.
So scripted and amateurish. The hand gestures. The segue to a colleague with the head nods and vacant heads faking a "knowing" glance.
The old "kids bring you the news" programs had better talent.
The ones that do the weather, that's more mystifying. Sometimes there's a real nerdy one that's believable. But most of them, it's like "YOU really got a meteorology degree? YOU? You did the math and physics?"
Then the networks do their DEI Star Search and the sour cream of the crop rises to the top.
The ones who don't make it? They seem to wash out from channel 83 after a few months. Maybe it really was an internship. Or they were desperate for something that pays more, assistant manager trainee at walgreens or wawa, maybe.
