David in TN on abc 20/20’s show on Luigi Mangione, and news on his forthcoming trials

I saw the abc 20/20’s show on Luigi Mangione. There was a lot of footage of midtown manhattan. There are apparently two video cameras on every street corner.

[N.S.: The proliferation of video cameras is due to the pervasive character, both of black criminals and of their black and non-black supporters (the red and the black).]

Mangione is from a wealthy family in Baltimore. They own hotels and other buildings. No interviews with family members. Mangione’s oration as valedictorian at his posh private school is shown. He is an IVY League graduate from Penn.

Mangione has become a folk hero on social media. Nothing is said by abc about his love life or sexuality. He had recently broken off contact with his family, and didn’t seem to have any close friends.

The nycpd’s female commissioner, Jessica Tisch (Levine), is shown. mayor Eric Adams greeted the plane bringing Mangione to nyc. Bragg is shown in a group of officials.

[N.S.: Jessica Tisch is even less qualified than her official predecessor, Keechant Sewell who, in addition to having been a cop for a number of years, was a double or triple affirmative action beneficiary. (I never saw her accompanied by a boyfriend or husband, and there were not even rumors of Sewell having been a normal woman.) Tisch (Levine), who was never a police person, has been married to man named Levine for 18 years, but has chosen to use her father’s last name over her husband’s last name. Tisch (Levine’s) immediate predecessor was the eminently qualified Thomas G. Donlon who, however, was “unqualified,” on account of being a normal, White man, who had never been involved in any scandals or criminal behavior.]

It looks like Mangione is going to be charged and tried in federal court, which would take the case away from the manhattan district attorney’s office. If Trump has a brain, he should encourage this, upon taking office in a month.

Update and revision

Mangione is going to be tried in state court first, then in federal. He could be given the death penalty in federal court.

N.S.: Let’s hope for a hung jury in state court, as a slap in the face to black supremacist, manhattan da Alvin Bragg, and to double jeopardy. I realize that the legitimate charge is the state one, but Mangione is going to be tried in federal court, in any event, and manhattan juries must nullify Bragg, at least where White defendants are concerned.

Court TV demands more White defendants--dammit.
