Kill people all you want, but we will not tolerate the targeting of Maseratis! "Seattle residents demand action after latest shootout targets Maserati in broad daylight"

"Seattle residents demand action after latest shootout targets Maserati in broad daylight"

N.S.: What's with the bizarre headline? Is it some crazy extension of the newsroom practice of speaking of things (e.g., a car, instead of a man attacked someone) instead of people?

My latest irk about media--their headlines:

"Lions vs 49ers: Everything we know from Monday night's shootout win."

"What you need to know about Trump's cabinet picks".

"What's known about the drone sightings."

This new style of headline writing infers that the providers of said info can be trusted--HA!

Known fact--or THEIR OPINION?

Is it what they know or what they WANT you to know?

I think I KNOW the answer to that question(for at least 5 years).

MASERATI LIVES MATTER. Riot time? Or just a flash mob?

Ditto GRA on headlines, clickbait is the game of the day. Disappointed with Daily Mail a lot, NY Post sometimes, masslive.com all the time where they're almost all Mass. stories with low-content headlines. "Mass. woman, man killed after car hits tree in Mass." Must click on it and voila, they cough it up at last, it happened in Raynham.
