Wilfred Reilly on race and crime

[“A horrific story you won’t see on the national news, due to the race of the perpetrator.”]

There is a story at nro today (Monday) by one Wilfred Reilly, who is black and a favorite of “normiecons,” as our friend Countenance would say. He claims there is no “race war.” He attacks sites that discuss black-on-White crime.

This is from the first paragraphs. The article as a whole is subscribers only. The thrust seems to be that interracial crime is “rare.” Or black-on-White and White- on-black is equally rare.

I would like to ask Mr. Reilly, “Why, with the exception of the Simpson farce, has no black-on-White murder case ever been made into a national morality play?

And the MSM was hoping for an acquittal of a dead-bang guilty O.J. Simpson in that case?

[N.S.] David,

I have a conflict of interest regarding Wilfred Reilly, who is a professor of political science at kentucky state university in frankfort.

Reilly is not only the only academic to discuss my work (on the knoxville horror) in many years, but he discussed it in both of his last two books: Hate Crime Hoax: How the Left is Selling a Fake Race War (2019), and Taboo: 10 Facts You Can’t Talk About (2020).

So, that’s the good part. I don’t even know how he managed to learn about me, since google had for years disappeared me regarding the knoxville horror.

The bad part: His stats make little sense. He claims that blacks (13.6%) only commit 15.3% of the country’s murders, but Steve Sailer reported a few months ago that according to the fbi-doj bureau of justice statistics, blacks committed 60.4% of murders last year, in which the perp’s race was known.

Considering how much the left hates this guy (his entry at the pretend encyclopedia is just a hate page), he’s triangulating like crazy.

By the way, I was able to access the entire article, by accident. I tried to respond to a reader’s comment, and got a demand that I subscribe. Then I hit “back page” a couple of times, and stumbled onto the entire article.
