The ex-wife of one of the most important figures in world history has just died at 93

Some people will complain that I engaged in hyperbole, but what historical figures were more important than Joe Yule Jr.? Einstein? But unlike Mickey, Einstein's theory and activism led to the development of the atomic bomb.

Mickey Rooney never killed anyone. He just made people laugh... and cry. He danced, and sang, and even learned to play the drums for one B-picture (The Strip--yes, he was one quick study), and if Elaine Devry gave him a little bit of happiness, then she made an important contribution to world history.
