I'll assume the noise was more than just footsteps or arguing. Probably loud music, and probably bad music, unwanted bad loud music, a sign of civilizational collapse. I would be the uncooperative juror nullifying the pompous DA practicing his political speech about gun violence to a captive audience. Been there done that in a Third Worldified neighborhood where you never knew when someone was going to crank up the jungle music, even white trash appropriating the anticulture that was taking over.
